Linking to layout sketches

- [Instructor] In this example, I'm going to be showing you how to use a layout sketch to define a component, all in context to your top level assembly. Now right here I have an assembly already established, and I've already created a layout sketch. Now you can create a layout sketch by going over here to the layout tab, if you don't have the layout tab turned on, right click and make sure you do have that selected and turned on, and then come over here to layout. Now you can establish any type of layout sketch here you want to define your models. So I'm going to go ahead and choose look normal to so here I've got this pretty straightforward and simple sketch with a couple of lines, they don't have to be perfect, all we're doing with these lines is using them as reference to create other components. So once you have a layout sketch defined, go ahead and exit back out of that layout sketch, and now let's go ahead and bring a component into the assembly and start creating parts from…
