- These days, just about every camera manufacturer is starting to make mirrorless cameras. Some have been making them for longer than others though. Olympus and Panasonic were some of the earliest adopters. Both of these subscribe to the micro four-thirds standard, often just shortened to MFT. They do a lot of still shooting on Olympus cameras, and the OM-D light up has been quite popular for those cameras. And one of the things that I like most about the Olympus cameras are all the physical dials. You see, we've got excellent controls here, and if you know what you're doing, it's really quite easy to make adjustments on the fly. It's a very traditional type of shooting situation, and it really reminds me of some of the first cameras I learned on. I really like having these different dials, because it makes it easy to control the camera. Panasonic though, tends to come at this more from the video side. The GH4 and GH5…
