- [Instructor] The measure tool has been in SolidWorks for a long time, but for SolidWorks 2019, they've improved the tool so you can use the measure command while you're in individual sketches or features. So let me show you how that works. Let's go ahead and start a sketch. I'm going to choose a sketch right here. I'm going to choose this face right here and create a circle right snapping to the center, and let's go ahead and create a cut extrude. Now before I finish this feature, I might want to measure maybe the length of that hole so I don't extend past the end of the hole, so to do that, go over here to Evaluate. Click on Measure, it's going to pop up over here. I can then jump in and choose how I'd like to measure using this tool. Now I have a couple other options here. I can use hole to hole measurements and choose if I want center to center or a minimum distance or maximum. I can choose my units by either the default settings or the document settings, or the custom settings…
