Offsetting corner lines
- [Narrator] In this video, we'll start to tackle the next major step in our algorithm, and that is to draw out the spline profiles. So in grasshopper here, I'm just going to grab this panel that has the note of the step that I am going to be working on, and let's drag that down. Kind of below this last one that we finished off of drawing the trapezoidal panel profiles. So what we're going for here is to draw the spline profiles and if you remember from an earlier video, those are the rectangles that are centered on each of the corner lines and perpendicular to each one of the corner lines. So, probably a good place to start in terms of drawing those, is to offset some of those corner lines. So those are coming out of this line component here. And actually while I'm at it here I can click here and disable preview. So let's pull up an offset curve component. Let's bring in those lines to the curve list input. Now, offset also asks for a distance. It asks for a plane, and it has options…
