Outlining an algorithm

- [Instructor] Alright so we've spent the last few videos going over some of the key components of the design of our voronoi pattern shelf. And in this video, I'd like to jump into grasshopper and start to map out an algorithm that we can use to define our shelf. And the goal here is kind of two-fold. One, it's to let grasshopper start to take care of a lot of those little tedious steps, like making splines and doing offsets and things like that, and two, it's to make sort of a generalized definition of our shelf form. And that's going to allow us to change different things. Say maybe we want it to be taller or shorter. Through grasshopper, we can build in that flexibility while still maintaining those key design elements that we've covered in the last few videos. So in grasshopper, what I like to do when I'm first starting a grasshopper definition is just give myself some text notes that break down the most important parts of the algorithm. And that gives me sort of a framework or an…
