- Having a photography workflow is essential in the construction industry. Photos today are used for monitoring progress, tracking issues, and documenting a project site. We've been working on large project sites that require so much documentation that the thousands of photos we've taken must be located precisely on a map if they're to be accessed quickly. Facilities managers have been catching on that getting good as-builts during construction may be one of the best ways to locate assets down the road that have been covered by Sheetrock or dirt. For progress monitoring and issue tracking, having eyes on the project site from multiple locations at any given time allows project management to be essentially everywhere at once.
