Project Curve - SOLIDWORKS Tutorial
From the course: SOLIDWORKS 2019 Essential Training
Project Curve
- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to be covering the Projected Curve tool. Now, this tool has been improved for SOLIDWORKS 2019 so we have the ability to project nested curves and we can also project them in both directions. Let me show you how it works. First thing I want to do is I want to create a sketch. And I'm going to to put that sketch right on the front plane. So, there's my sketch, go ahead and start it up, and jump in to the sketch mode. Now, what I want to do is import a Block, and I don't have my Block Toolbar turned on so that's what I'd like to do first. So, come up here to Blocks, and right there is the Blocks Toolbar. I'm going to to drag it out and I'm going to go ahead and say Insert Block. Alright, lets browse my file system here and I happen to have this block I'd like to import on my desktop under exercise files, chapter eight, and eight 16. And it's not a SOLIDWORKS block. It's actually a DXF file. So, come down here to dxf and there is my logo, click on…
