Radius, fillet, and chamfer dimensions

- [Instructor] Adding radius, fillet, or chamfer dimensions in SolidWorks is pretty straightforward thanks to the tools we have. When you want to add a radius, diameter, or fillet dimension, you're going to use the Smart Dimension feature. Just click on Smart Dimension, find your radius, click on it once, drag the dimension out, click again to lock in the place and then I like to hit escape to back out of it. If you want to change this to a diameter dimension you can just right click on it, go to Display Options and save Display as Diameter. The same is true for any holes, so if we go over here, we have some threaded holes. Now we can either use the Smart Dimension feature to call out the thread or we can change that to a basic hole and just call out the diameter. If you want to call out the chamfer, there is actually a specific chamfer dimension tool. If you go up to the Smart Dimension drop-down, you'll see the chamfer…
