Recording and viewing movies

- Recording movies on your mirrorless camera tends to be pretty easy. That's because you're going to be able to see what it is you're recording in the electronic viewfinder or on the live view display, plus you'll typically find a dedicated button for recording video. Remember there are a few key things to check like making sure you're in the right recording mode and that you've dialed in settings for proper exposure. So I check here, I say I'm in video recording mode and in my menu setting, I want to make sure that I am recording in the correct mode. So my personal preference is to record in a manual exposure mode so I can really control this but if you're not positive you can use modes like aperture or shutter priority, my preference though is manual for more control. Now using my command dials, I can dial in the depth of field that I want and adjust the shutter speed to control exposure, typically something around a…
