Reducing camera shake

- When you go to take a photo, it's quite possible that you can have unwanted shake or vibration and this could really ruin an image. It leads to a blurry photo and a loss of detail. There are several different strategies and I want to introduce you to them. A lot of folks incorrectly think that they can handhold their camera and have tack sharp photos, but the reality is this could be very difficult, particularly if you're not using the highest quality of lenses and have plenty of light to work with. So what it comes down to is you want to try to really get the shot and have it be tack sharp. We'll talk about one of them more later, and this is putting the camera into shutter priority mode, often indicated by the letter S. This allows you to set the shutter speed for the camera and we can use a faster shutter speed so that the shutter is not open is as long, leading to sharper photos.
