Reframe the employee problems

- Ever heard the expression, a problem is just an opportunity in disguise, or a problem is just an opportunity in work clothes? Well, those quotes demonstrate the key part of an advisory approach to managing employee problems, and that's reframing. You may be familiar with the term, but for those who are not, reframing is changing the way you see, define or describe something. So why is reframing important? Well, for three main reasons. The first is this, how someone initially sees a problem will determine how they react to, approach, and handle it. Secondly, HR professionals who've dealt with employee problems for a number of years, probably have a typical default reaction that probably generates negative emotions and points of view.
