- [Instructor] SolidWorks has three different file types, the first one is a part and you can take a bunch of parts and you can assemble them together to create an assembly or a subassembly, and you can have those subassemblies under a top-level assembly and any one of these things can have a drawing, so you can drawings of individual parts, you can see this one here has two different drawings for part number two. Over here this assembly has one drawing for that assembly. You can then zip those back up. Now, what I'm using here is a program called Treehouse which ships with SolidWorks. Now, it allows me to visualize the assembly pretty well and it shows that I have multiple parts underneath that top-level assembly, as well as subassemblies over here. Now, you have the option of using something like a Save As, so if you have assembly two here for instance, and you want to do a Save As command, what they'll do is it'll orphan this file here.
