Scene overview

- [Instructor] In this final chapter we're gonna build a different kind of particle simulation with the over all goal being to show you how we can prepare particles to work with Houdini's powerful geometry instancing features. Okay so first off I'm just gonna give you a simple overview of the scene. We have our ground geometry object here. If I make my view port a little bit smaller and scroll out you can see like we have with some of these other things we've prepared, we have the actual rendered ground here that we're gonna have actually in our shot as well as some other versions we're gonna use as utility geometry for other prep in our particle system. Okay and then we also have a few different pieces of geometry that we're gonna use to actually instance onto the point so let me just go inside of one of these just so you can see. Just got a simple plutonic solid that's been modeled out that we're gonna use as an instance piece of geometry and we have four of them. Okay so that is the overview of this scene and now we know what we're going to go do and now we will keep moving on to actually build this out.
