Simple modify tecniques
- [Voiceover] In many cases, we can manipulate Revit the same way we draw in 2D. For example, if you have two lengths of pipe that aren't connected, you can actually use the trim command, not only to connect them, but add your fittings, rise/drop symbols, and any connected piping needed. We're going to to look at split, trim, extend, offset, and array. So to get started, let's go to our Sprinkler, Floor Plan, 1- Sprinkler. Let's go out in this other building that we haven't touched yet. Let's just draw some pipes in. On the System tab, select Pipe, Pipe Type Sprinkler, Diameter 6". Let's offset it at 2' 4. Let's change our Detail level to Fine. I'm going to draw a pipe right about here to here. I don't care how long it is. Hit Esc a couple times. Right-click on this pipe and Create Similar. Let's try one down here at, like, 45 degrees. Hit Esc. Let's try another one over here. Hit Esc. Now suppose we wanted to connect these. Let's add another level of complicity. Go ahead and select…
