- [Instructor] Before starting any project I think it helps to know what entailed in the full process to finish the project. You know so you can see the whole big picture in manageable steps. So here I'm going to quickly layout all of the steps to take the raw footage that you've captured for your web series and turn it into the final product that you publish to the internet. Here are the steps of post-production. Now post-production refers to all of the things that happen after the production or the recording of the episode is finished, makes sense right? The first step is reviewing the footage. That is, watching the footage and making editing notes. Once you've identified all the possible clips you may want to use, it's time to edit the footage. Editing means cutting together all the clips into a cohesive flow inside of an editing application. There are different editing styles and techniques all of which you'll hone as you practice.
