Using LUTs with DaVinci Resolve

- Using LUTs in DaVinci Resolve is pretty straightforward. There are a lot of built in LUTs to save you time and jumpstart your creativity. Feel free to open up the existing project here and just select a clip that you want to work with. Then switch to the color space. Now, in the upper corner you'll have a browser for LUTs. If it's not visible just click the LUTs button. This'll make it easier to browse and see your LUTs. I suggest you explore some of the options here. For example, under Blackmagic Design I see a bunch of LUTs that are going to work well for this particular camera since I shot on a Blackmagic camera. Switching to list view makes it a little bit easier to see. So if I right click, I can choose to apply this to the current node. And I see that it instantly applies the LUT giving it the new treatment. That works quite nicely and if needed you could continue to add additional nodes by simply choosing Add Node.…
