- Your camera includes several built in recipes that can modify the look of the shot. Now personally, I prefer to do most of this stylization in post production on a computer where I have flexibility, but you can use these onset or in the field to quickly come up with looks. Some cameras will only write this to the JPEG file. Others will give you settings that could be handed off to the raw editor and interpreted. Some cases people will make both a JPEG and a raw file, so they have the stylized image for reference or quick sharing, and then the raw file for additional editing. We're going to shoot here with the Olympus that has two types of options built in, but ultimately you will find similar options on most cameras. To access these, I'll go into my quick menu and you see we've got picture mode to start.
