- [Instructor] There may be cases where you need to work with more than one material into a single Substance Designer file. There are multiple ways you can handle this. One, you could still create different graphs and use this method as we've explored earlier, but there's a node that exists that could allow you to do this right into a single graph. So let's go ahead and explore that. So create a new substance, I'll click on the plus sign here, select Physically Based Italic, and all the default settings are good. And then you have your new substance. Now if we look into the nodes that we have on the screen right now, we have the base color, this node here. And then if we look into the next one, you have the normal for your height, roughness, metallic, and then height. So basically what you have here is all your maps for mesh. But what if you wanted to have multiple basement trails fed into one material and then fed into these five maps that you can export out? Well there is a node for…
