Working with mesh gradients

- [Instructor] Let's see how to work with mesh gradients in Inkscape. Mesh gradients allow you to position and blend as many colors as you want in the fill or stroke of an object. And you can use them to create realistic artwork with complex highlights and shading. Here, we're going to look at the basics of working with the mesh controls. To start, I'll take the mesh tool and double-click on this square. And a bunch of controls up here. The mesh nodes are diamond shape and they're placed in the corners. And you can assign a color to each node. So right now I could blend up to four colors in this square. If I wanted to blend more, I can undo, and increase the number of rows and columns. I'll make both two. And I double click again with the mesh tool. And now I have nine nodes in the corners, in the middle of each side, and in the center. Right now they alternate between white and the blue color that filled the square…
