Measuring the model

One of the key tasks in reviewing design is the ability to measure the various components to make sure all the parts fit together and there's no potential issues. When an Edrawing is created, there's an option to allow measuring of the model for review. Therefore, most models will generally be able to measured. However some will not allow this. With the Measure command active, we can measure from face to face, edge to edge, or point to point, plus any combination of those. You can see this model I have open, which is 2.2.1, and over here on the left I can click on the component window. And come down here to measure and I can activate the measure. I have my cursor is now a little measuring tape with a little ruler on it. And I can select the different selection filters here. So, the first one is face measure, the next one is edges, the next one is points or vertexes, and the next one is holes. This text box down here will have the different items we have selected.
