Creating external links
- External links give us the ability to expand the reaches of our book beyond the confines of the digital book covers. There are three types of external links we can create: web links, email, and deep links through custom HTML. We'll explore deep linking in the next couple of movies. Web links are exactly what they sound like. They are links that will take the reader out of your book, open their web browser, and transport them to another location on the internet. When they return to your book, they're taken back to the same place they were reading from. If you're following along, I'm on page nine in our book.
