Exporting a book as a PDF
- A great option for you to be able to export a copy of your book so it can be viewed on a device other than an iPad is to export your book as a PDF. All of your widgets will not necessarily work when you export it as a PDF but your general layout and much of your content will still be intact. Let's look at how to export our finished Explore California travel guide as a PDF. To do this, all you need to do is come up here to the File menu and select Export. When sheet pulls down, simply click on the middle button which is PDF. Choose the Image Quality that we want to have from the dropdown menu. I'll go ahead and select Better. If you want to apply any Security Options, you can click the dropdown triangle here. You can choose to require a password when the document is opened. You can choose to restrict printing of your document or you can choose to restrict copying of content directly from your document.
