Exporting ePub

- The last step to creating an ePub is to export the book into the ePub format. We have two options for doing this inside of iBooks Author. The first is if you want to publish your book on the iBookstore. To do this, you would come to the toolbar, and click on the Publish button. Then follow the same steps for publishing an iBook that we'll cover in the next chapter. The second, and perhaps more common method, is to export an ePub document to your computer, so you can share or sell it through other channels. To do this, go up to the File menu, and then select Export. You should see the ePub format and it should be automatically selected for you. It's worth noting that this option is only available from the Export menu if you've created your book from an ePub template. If you have a book based on an iBook template, this option will not be available from the Export menu. Click the Next button and then give your ePub a name.
