Spanning an image across two pages

- One of the very cool things about iBooks displayed on an iPad is that when the documents are in the landscape perspective and you swipe from one page to another, for a moment, you get to see both pages. A really nice effect to apply to your books is to span an image across two pages of your book. That's what we're going to do in this movie. The image we're going to span is up here in our Media window. It's called big_sur. I'm going to go ahead and drag that image, and drop it here onto page 27 of our layout, and then close our Media browser. When you're doing this technique, it's oftentimes very helpful to zoom out to about 50%. That way, you can clearly see the two pages of your document side by side. Next, we'll go ahead and take our image and we'll move it up so that the top left of the image is parked right up to the top edge of the right-hand column of the first page.
