And now let's talk about location, where you shoot, and lighting. You basically have two broad choices in location, indoors or outdoors. There are a lot of advantages to shooting indoors. You can control the lighting. You are not subject to the kind of extraneous noise you get outdoors, and you can shoot in relative privacy, which is a nice thing if you are a little shy about performing in front of others. But if you're in outdoors at the right location, you'll need to worry about lights, because of that fiery ball in the sky. Also, being outdoors can make sense, depending on the subject matter. For example, if you are the coach at the Local Little League Team, making a video about how to pullout the perfect squeeze play, shooting at the ballpark makes sense. Likewise, if you are teaching outdoor survival skills, absolutely shoot outdoors. There are plenty of ways to shoot incorrectly outdoors.
