- [Instructor] Three of the primary ways to modify any photo are by adjusting brightness, contrast, and the quality of the color. We saw the first two in the light adjustments, now let's move on to see what we can do with the adjustments that affect the color in your photos. The first color adjustment comes right after the black point adjustment, and it's saturation. You can experiment with this to find a look that works with the image that you're editing. But you have to be careful with saturation, because if you go too far and really saturate it a lot, the colors can start to look unnatural. So for instance, if I turn this almost all the way up, you can see that the nectarines in the background on the right side and also the pears, are starting to look just a little bit too bright and colorful.
