- The iPhone provides a couple different options when it comes to frame size and frame rate. When it comes to frame size, this refers to how big your video is, and the iPhone offers three primary choices. Choice number one is the smallest, which is 1280 by 720. This is the width and height of your video. From there, it goes up. You then have what's commonly referred to as full HD. This is 1920 by 1080, and finally we have 4K, which is actually almost double the size of your 1920 by 1080, commonly referred to as a raster. Again, just means the size of your video. Why this matters is primarily where you might end up showing your video. Now when it comes to frame rate, this could stylistically affect your video. For instance, 24 frames per second is something common for film, and then you have higher frame rates. Sometimes in action films, they shoot at a higher frame rate in order to have a very sharp image. But more commonly, higher frame rates are used for capturing slow-motion…
