- [Jason] Hello, my name is Jason Garett, and in this week's Monday Productivity Pointers, I want to show you how you can add a custom keyboard shortcut to any menu command in any application in MacOS. So to get started, here in Safari, if I go under the File menu, you can see there's an option to Export as PDF. Next, I'm going to go into Notes, and you'll see that same option. I love being able to do this, but you'll notice there's no keyboard shortcut. So I'm going to go to the Apple menu, System Preferences, Keyboards, Shortcuts, and App Shortcuts. Here's where I can add one. I'm going to click on the little plus button at the bottom here, and then I'm going to type in the menu command exactly as I saw it. Export as PDF including the ellipses, the three dots at the end. In the next box, for the keyboard shortcut, I can use any combination of Command, Option, Control, and Shift along with the key that I want to press.…
