- [Jess] My name is Jess Stratton and welcome to Monday productivity pointers. It's been over 10 years since Google has given us an update to Gmail's interface. They've finally done it and over the next several months you may find that your Gmail one day looks completely different. It's the new Gmail interface. You can try it out right now if you want to. While you're logged into Gmail click the gear icon on the top right-hand side of the screen and click try the new Gmail. It takes just a few moments and it loads the brand new, squeaky clean interface. I'm gonna show you some new features. The first thing you can do is click next to get a quick tour. I'm going to choose the default view. I'll click OK. And at first glance it doesn't look too different, but you will notice some different fonts and a cleaner interface.
