Get a sneak peek at the cool new features in iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, the operating systems for the iPhone and iPad.
- [Garrick] iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 are the latest versions of the operating systems for iPhones and iPads, as of September 2020. iOS 14 comes with a slew of under-the-hood performance enhancements, as well as plenty of new and useful features, like built-in voice dictation, widget stacks, and cleaner and compact interfaces for incoming phone calls and Siri. Many of the built-in apps have seen a lot of improvements too. It's now much easier to keep track of multiple conversations in the messages app, and to quickly find the message threads that are important to you. And the native apps on the iPad, like photos, mail, calendar, and files have a new sidebar interface that makes it easier to get to the information and content you need. Also brand new and iPad OS is a feature called Scribble, which allows you to create and input content entirely with an Apple pencil and to have what you write automatically converted into text, or interactive elements like addresses and phone numbers. So, with that said, let's jump in and take a look at the new features of iOS and iPadOS 14.
