- [Garrick] Hi, I'm Garrick Chow and Welcome to Monday productivity pointers. Today's tip is for times when you want to restrict an iOS device to a single app. For example, maybe you have an iPad set up at a conference to display information, and you don't want anyone to be able to walk up to it and use other apps. Or maybe you're a parent who wants to let your kid play with a game on your phone, but you don't want them switching into your work email by accident. Whatever the case, there's a way you can lock your iPhone or iPad to a specific app and prevent other people from exploring other parts of your device. Start by going into your device's settings, find accessibility, and down towards the bottom tap Guided Access. And here toggle on Guided Access.
