- [Jess] My name is Jess Stratton and welcome to Monday Productivity Pointers. This week, I'm going to show you how you can ignore a conversation in Outlook and mute one in Gmail. The two do the same thing. Here's a conversation thread and it's going on a bit long and I'm out of the loop on this. These two people, Amy and Jenny, are now conversing. I've introduced them and I can step away from the conversation. But the thing is, I'm already part of this conversation. So, every email that they reply to I'm also getting copies of. I'd like to stop getting these. But I know that they're going to continue emailing. So, Outlook gives us a great feature called Ignore. This means that any new messages that come in will go right to the Deleted Items bin. Let's start ignoring this conversation. Here's the last one in the thread. On the Home ribbon tab, I'll click Ignore. This is going to move any current and future messages into the Deleted Items folder. It's letting me know because it is…
