Paste text without formatting

- [Instructor] If you simply copy and paste text from one document or one application to another, it may not be formatted the way you want. So in this week's Monday Productivity Pointers I'll show you how, in most cases, you can decide what formatting you want when pasting. Now, I'm starting in Microsoft Word, because I have some formatted text here, but also because the Microsoft Office applications have some built-in options for pasting. I want to select this block of text here, and I want you to notice there's already some formatting applied to it. Specifically, the first line is larger and it's bold. So with this text selected I'm just going to use the keyboard shortcut, Control + C to copy it. And then I want to see what it looks like when I just paste it into a new blank document.
