- Besides camera settings, you also want to be aware of your iPhone's general settings when you start to film footage with your iPhone. Things such as notifications or phone calls can really get in the way of a good shot. I'm gonna tell you all the different things you should know about changing your iPhone settings to make sure that you don't get interrupted. So, there are a couple things that you want to keep in mind just before we actually begin recording with your iPhone, and one of those things is to make sure that you kill as many apps as possible minus your camera app to preserve battery strength. On my iPhone 10, what I can do is actually just swipe up from the bottom, and it will show me all the open apps. Any apps that I don't want to have open, what I'll do is just simply click and hold down and then minus them from the menu. I believe on an iPhone 7 and before, you can tap the home screen a couple times in order to kill any apps that might be draining your battery. Now…
