Record a slow-motion video
- Slow motion can add a really interesting dimension to your videos and it's perfect for certain subjects. The super slo-mo speed of 240 frames per second can be very mesmerizing and hypnotic. There's just something about seeing motion rendered this slow that is incredibly fascinating. Before we get to the camera app, let's go into the Settings and take a look at the slo-mo options down in the Camera settings. I'll tap on Record Slo-mo, and here you can see I have two choices. I can record in 1080p HD at 120 frames a second or at that same resolution at 240 frames per second, which is the default on this Iphone 12 ProMax. On models prior to the Iphone 8, you can shoot in slow motion at 120 frames per second at 1080p resolution, or 240 frames per second at 720p resolution.
