- [Garrick] I'm Garrick Chow, and welcome to Monday Productivity Pointers. When working in Microsoft Office applications, like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and so on, if you wanna make sure that you don't lose your work in the event of an application or system crash, or if you just accidentally forget to hit Save when you close a document, you can come up to the File menu, go to Options, and, here, under the Save category, make sure Save AutoRecover Information Every X amount of minutes is checked, and also Keep the Last AutoRecovered Version if I Close Without Saving checked, as well. While you're in here, you can also decrease or increase the amount of time between AutoSaves. And I'll click OK. So let's say I've been working on this document and I go to close Word, but I accidentally click Don't Save. So, in most cases, the work that I just did would be gone. But if I open up that document again, you can see the word Completely is gone here because it didn't save that change. But now if…
