- Hi, I'm Garrick Chow, and welcome to Monday Productivity Pointers. If you've ever had to help someone figure out something on their computer remotely you know how frustrating it can get to try to verbally explain where and what to click, what Windows or settings to open or what apps to download and use. Fortunately, if you and the person you're helping are both using Windows 10, you can take advantage of a built-in feature called Quick Assist. Quick Assist allows you to remotely view or even take control of someone else's computer, so you can make adjustments yourself or just show them what to do. Again, this is a built-in feature of Windows 10, and it's really easy to set up. Now I do suggest being on the phone with the person you're going to be helping before you start this process it'll make things go much more smoothly.
