- [Oliver] I've been in this situation many times where I've needed to send a copy of something to someone and thought to myself, "Hmm, I wish I had a scanner right now. "But who could I borrow a scanner from?" Well, little did I know that the whole time I had a powerful scanner right in my pocket, my smartphone. I'm Oliver Shankdon, staff instructor at LinkedIn Learning, and welcome to Monday Productivity Pointers. Today's tip is utilizing scanning apps on your smartphone to share documents and files. Right now I'm on an Android device and you can see here that I have an app called TurboScan. This one's worked well for me but there are a ton of different ones out there. Some only on iOS, some on Android, some are free while others have additional features and cost a small fee. I recommend checking out the Play store or App Store to find one that suits your needs.
