- [Instructor] So in this movie, we're gonna take a look at Filmic Pro and Mavis. These are two apps designed for your iPhone to give you better quality footage. They give you a higher megabits per second, in terms of recording, which actually allows you to have a little bit more color detail in your images, but at the same point in time, you try to keep in mind that the file sizes of your footage are also going to be larger. We're gonna start off by looking at Filmic Pro, which is the app that I am currently in, and look at some of those features that it has to offer. So, first off is, if you press the little gear icon, this is gonna give you access to switching a bunch of things and settings inside of Filmic Pro. If we go to resolution, we can see right now that my current setting is to 4K, but I can choose from a variety of different formats by clicking on the arrows, as well as, one of my favorites is to add a crop source overlay.
