- [Instructor] In this movie we're gonna talk about capturing slow motion video with your iPhone. The first thing to keep in mind is under your iPhone settings, here if you go to your camera settings, where you will find your options for recording slo-mo. This is gonna vary per iPhone device. I'm currently on the iPhone 10. And you'll notice that I have it set to a 1080/240 frames per second. Note the extreme difference between 120 frames per second as well as 240 frames per second. Here on the iPhone it's about 480 megabytes. Now because we're taking so many frames per second the iPhone is recording with a faster shutter speed. And because of this we need a lot more light or your iPhone is gonna appear very noisy as well as very grainy. For instance, there's a lot of things that we filmed at Arvo that was slightly noisy, and this is because we weren't close to a window.
