- So we're ready to start recording some interviews. Now we've also made sure that we have appropriate lighting. We've also got some sound, and we're ready to go. I wanna give you guys some practical tips for shooting interviews on the fly, and being able to set quick in high-paced environments. So here at Arvo, we had a number of challenges. Number one, they couldn't just shut down the coffee shop in the middle of the week for us to film. So we had to be very strategic with how we shot. The first thing that we did when filming Justin, the owner, was made sure that we were close to a place where there was a lot of natural light. That happened to be at the main front door. So we were able to illuminate our subject, and for that particular set-up, that was enough. When it came to the actual interview process, I also made sure that when I was holding my stabilizer for this particular shot, which was stable for the interview, that I was at eye level with the subject.
