[Instructor] - Both iOS and the Mac OS have a useful way to share files with nearby devices called Airdrop. Let's check it out. First, I need to make sure that I have Airdrop turned on. I'll swipe down from the top right edge of my iPhone to bring up the control panel. If you have an iPhone that has a physical home button swipe up from the bottom of the screen to show this. Use a long touch on the wifi icon in the upper left to bring up a menu with additional options. Airdrop works using wifi and Bluetooth. So make sure that both of those are turned on. If you and the person you want to share with are using a personal hotspot, turn that off. Tap on the Airdrop icon to specify who can see your device with Airdrop, contacts only, or everyone. You can also turn Airdrop receiving off If you want. In most cases, I would strongly recommend that you leave this set to contacts only or receiving off. That way your iPhone or iPad…
