- [Garrick] Hello, I'm Garrick Chow, and welcome to Monday Productivity Pointers. If you ever need to send large files to someone else, one thing you shouldn't do is send them over email. Email isn't really designed for the transfer of large files and many email servers still reject files over certain sizes. Now, there are lots of ways to transfer large files through cloud-based services these days. For example, you could upload your file to a Dropbox account and send a link to it from there. But many services like Dropbox, Box and OneDrive require you to create an account. And the free versions of these services usually limit the amount of storage space they'll provide for free. Dropbox, for example, only gives you two gigabytes of space with free accounts.
