- Now let's take a look at running a basic application. I'm going to start by going into full screen mode to get a little bit more space. And than before we run the app, let's pick a simulator to run it on. So I'm going to click right here, where it says Ipod touch. So this allows me to choose my active scheme, which is where I can select a simulator to test on. I'm going to use Iphone SE 2nd generation for this course. So let's use that, and than to see what the app looks like. Hit the plat button up here, or command+R for run on you keyboard. After a little of time for the simulator to boot up and for the application to load, you should see the app loading up on your screen. If you don't see hello world, with a white background, than wait for a little bit more time. You might have to up to five minutes for it to appear. So once you've seen it. There you go. Your app is now installed on the simulator and running.…
