- [Presenter] One of the great things about having a good camera phone is just how easy it is to shoot video. Even though on the surface it may seem like a one button operation, there are a lot of settings under the hood that influenced the size and the quality of the video you're recording. Let's take a look at these settings. I'm going to swipe up until I come down to the camera settings and then in the camera settings, I'm going to choose Formats. The default file format for both photos and videos is high efficiency. When this is enabled, your video will be saved in the HEVC or H.265 format. If you'd rather save it in the older H.264 format which may be more compatible with some older software, you can choose most compatible.
