- Hey everybody, welcome back to Mobile Photography Weekly, I'm Sean Duggan. This week, we have another in our occasional series of Camera App Focus episodes. Where we take a camera app and take it for a test drive, kick the tires, check out the features, see what we think. The app in question this week is FiLMic Firstlight, which is created by the same company that makes the incredibly versatile mobile video app FiLMic Pro. It's available for both Android and iOS. Let's check it out. Like many camera apps, focus and exposure is set automatically in Firstlight, but you can also tap on the scene to choose a specific area for the exposure and focus. If you tap again on the reticule, it turns yellow, indicating that the exposure and focus are locked. You can see an indicator for this in yellow at the top of the screen.
