Night mode
- Some newer smartphones have a special low light or night mode that can do some pretty extraordinary things. Google and Samsung started this on some of their phones. Apple followed with some of theirs. I've got an iPhone 11 Pro right here, and it's got this night mode in it. And what this does is when I'm using the regular wide-angle lens or the 2x lens, it offers the option of this special shooting mode which comes on automatically and when I press the button it's going to take a whole bunch of pictures. This is kind of like a high-dynamic-range process if you know what that is. It's going to take a whole bunch of pictures, and then it's going to analyze each one and pull the best parts out of each one and assemble them all. In addition, it's going to pay attention to the phone's motion sensors, it's accelerometers, so it can try to figure out when the phone, which frames might be blurry or sharper than others, and only…
