Tilt-shift blurring with Glass

- [Sean] Hey, everybody, it's time once again for another installment of Mobile Photography Weekly. I'm Sean Duggan, and on this episode, we're going to explore what I like to call the beauty of the blur and take a quick look at a tilt shift app for iOS called Glass. This app is from BrainFeverMedia, and they make a lot of really cool apps. I've covered some of their other offerings in earlier episodes in this series, but I've only recently discovered Glass Tilt Shift, and I'm really glad that I did. Now, before you roll your eyes and think, "Aw, not another tilt shift effect," Glass is doing something different. Rather than just applying a blur to the edges of the photo, which is what happens with most tilt shift effects, the Glass Tilt Shift app is using a complex algorithm to dynamically shift the focus and the blurred areas in the scene and simulate what happens when tilt shift is used with a real glass lens.…
