Project overview
Since we're going to be using lettering.js so often during our projects, I wanted to start out with a project that is going to highlight and really get used to working with it. Now we're going to be focusing on recreating the typography found on an edition of author James Case's Competition. So I get to show you one of my favorite sites here. This is the book cover archive at bookcoverarchive.com. I love book cover design. And one of the things that I thought about when I was planning this course is, hey, how about finding, you know, a book cover that I'm really fond of and then trying to recreate that through CSS. And this is one of the book covers that I saw. And I like, yeah, I think we can not only do that with CSS. But it gives me a chance to really highlight what lettering.js does for us.
