Using the exercise files

- If you are a premium member of Lynda.com, you have access to the exercise files used throughout this title. I've provided a comprehensive set of exercise files, arranged by chapter, to accompany each of the lessons in this course. The exercise files are contained in a folder named exercise files. I recommend that you copy this folder to some place on your computer where it is easy to access. I've placed it here on my desktop, but you can put it wherever makes the most sense for you. The exercises are arranged in folders that corresponds to each chapter in the course. Let's take a look. Each exercise has two versions, a finished version and a start version. For each of the lessons, I'm going to use the start version of the exercise and build towards the finished version. I've also included a file called example snippets, which contains the code that I will use to build the start version of each example to the finished version. This way, you don't have to sit there and watch me type code. It's entirely up to you how you want to use these exercise files. If you want to follow along with me and use the start version of each exercise to build the finished version, then that's fine. If you'd rather just open the finished version of the exercise and run it in the browser to see how it works, well, that's fine too. If you are a monthly member or annual member of Lynda.com, you don't have access to the exercise files, but you can follow along with me using your own code and assets.
